Given all of the time we've spent there, Arroyo Grande is where I've had a lot of memories. Craig Ranch Park is nice as well as there is plenty to do there for siblings. BLD as a concept is nice, but it gets pricey and the fields look to be wearing a bit. It is nice to have concessions. As the boys get older, it will be fun to see them at Desert Diamonds. I've walked around there when there weren't games and it look amazing.
Outside of Vegas, we've enjoyed many of the parks in Utah due to the great views, but I don't remember any of the names. Maybe not the best facilities, but nice to go to. Other BLDs in California are nice as well. Cactus Yards in Gilbert is easily the best "BLD" I've been to.
Agree with pretty much everything FH wrote. Arroyo in Las Vegas has amazing energy. Out of town, Veterans Memorial in Cedar City is terrific. Not the nicest by a long shot, but it has this cool 1980's feel to it and I think almost everyone loves going to Cedar City
I couldn't think of the name, but Veteran's Memorial is great. Not due to the fields or anything, but everything around the fields. There's a stream to walk down by, an old bridge, and some nice war memorials. I brought my kids to look at all of the memorials to remind them of the sacrifices so many people made.
Craig Ranch is one of my least favorite, mainly because we have drawn games at the end of the day and they don’t drag between games so it is basically a big sand pit.
Mission is a favorite, as well as Arroyo.
1 BLD is the best but they are letting the place run into the ground.
2 Weston Hills in Henderson
For 13/14 Desert Diamonds is awesome.
Strange they don't do any upgrades at BLD. I guess if people continue to come, why do they care if the place looks weathered and faded? Weston Hills is nice when the grass is green. In general, Henderson does a much better job taking care of their fields than Las Vegas does. It's a shame that tournaments never use Rainbow Family Park. It's one of the best four field complexes in the city. Not sure why
